TWENTY FEET FROM STARDOM
Saturday, June 15, 8:30pm
Directed by Morgan Neville
Presented by Wall Street Journal

Triumphant and heartbreaking in equal measure, award-winning director Morgan Neville’s TWENTY FEET FROM STARDOM is a tribute to the unsung, yet unmistakable voices of the backup singers which brought shape and style to popular music over the years.

UPDATE: due to unforeseen circumstances, Darlene Love will no longer attend the screening of TWENTY FEET FROM STARDOM. We are very excited to announce that Lisa Fischer, who stars in the film as well, will attend the screening for a Q&A with Dick Cavett and a performance.

GASLAND PART II
Friday, July 5, 8:00pm
Directed by Josh Fox
Presented by HBO Documentary

GASLAND PART II, the provocative follow-up to Josh Fox’s 2011 Academy Award-
nominated documentary GASLAND, examines the method of extracting natural gas and oil known as hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking,” one of the most controversial environmental issues facing our country today. With his trademark dark humor and tenacity, Fox’s newest effort demonstrates how the stakes have been raised, piercing the prevailing myths by arguing how and why fracked wells inevitably leak over time. The iconic imaginates the water and air, hurts families, and endangers the earth’s climate. Josh Fox and environmental experts will participate in a Q&A moderated by Alec Baldwin.
